Bridges of Linn County
Thu 17 June 2010
We took pictures of five covered bridges in Linn County, Oregon today. Standing water on wood bridges makes them rotten so it makes sense to cover a bridge. A wooden bridge is stronger and will last longer than a steel bridge if cared for properly. And they are just plain fun. Image source: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dougtone/3015036715/

You're a blogging fool. I come back one night and there's suddenly 10 posts! Wow. It does look like you guys are enjoying your time away. I loved the gate picture.
ReplyDeleteHave fun.
And I just realized I left an easy to misinterpret phrase on the internet-- when I called you a blogging fool, I was mis-quoting Muppet's Christmas Carol where the critic says to the other critic "Why, you old dancing fool!" to imply he was surprisingly capable and sprightly. I was in no way actually calling you a "fool."
ReplyDeleteLove the picture!
